Drummond wrote about his chickpea curry recipe in a 2015 blog post on The Pioneer Woman website.
“This is an absolutely delicious and super flavorful pantry meal that seems to be one of the quickest ways to satisfy a curry craving that might hit you here or there,” he wrote. “I love chickpeas, but I eat them mostly cold, whole in salads or mashed with hummus. I forgot how delicious they are in soups and sauces. And, unless the rumors are false, chickpeas are very good for you!

Drummond demonstrated how to make chickpea curry with rice during one episode of the pioneer woman dedicated to recipes created by raiding your pantry.
