The minestrone is of Italian origin and is made with various vegetables, to which pasta or rice are also added. We prepare it in the microwave and use a homemade vegetable broth or one that you can buy ready-made.

Peel and dice the onion, potato and carrots.

Remove the strands from the celery stalk and chop it too. Peel the garlic and chop it the same way.

Put the onion, potato, carrot, garlic and celery in a microwave-safe bowl and add a little broth, salt and oil.

Cover with cling film and cook for 5-6 minutes in the microwave.

Add the rest of the broth, add the peas and tomato sauce, cover again and cook in the microwave for another 5-6 minutes.

Check that the vegetables are soft and add the noodles.

Put it back in the microwave for 3 minutes.

Remove from the oven, mix well and serve the soup warm.
